The overall trends for Prescott on the price per square foot has remained fairly close from January 19 through July 2019.  The price in January was $198.28 per square foot and the price in July 2019 was $204.65.  The average sold trends show that the price of homes sold did have a larger increase with the low being $379,107 in March 2019, and the high of $439,105 in April.  Agent days on the market had a low of 55 days in June, 2019 and a high of 99 days in February.

January 1, 2019: Prescott has a total of 450 active residential listings with an average list price of $559,884. There is also 106 pending listings.  There is 8 Mult-Family listings, 60 commercial listings and 989 vacant land listings. 
January - December 2018: For the year 2018 Prescott had a total of 1,712 homes sold.  The average sold price was $409,197  The average liveable square feet of 2,125 with a price per square foot of $273.09. The average days on the market for all homes sold was 67 days.
December - 2018: Prescott had a total of 115 homes sold with an average price of $256,985.  The average liveable square feet of 1,633 which is a price of $153.33 a square foot. The average agent days on market was only 34 days.
November 2018: Prescott, Arizona Home Sale Trends for November 2018.  Number of homes sold, price of homes sold, average price per sq.ft. and days on the market. For the month of November 2018 there was a total of 133 homes sold which was a decrease compared to the number of homes sold in October. In November there was 133 homes sold with an average price of $410,785, and the price per square foot of $191.22.  As of 12/1/18 there is a total of 507 active listing with an average list price of $554,54. November 2018 average sale price was 1.57% higher than October 2017.  The month to month average sold price decreased by 1.14% from October to November 2018. Also, the average price per square foot only decreased by 3.86% from the previous month.

September 2018: Prescott Home Sale Trends for September 2018.  Number of homes sold, price of homes sold, average price per sq.ft. and days on the market. For the month of September 2018 there was a total of 149 homes sold which was a decrease compared to the number of homes sold in August. In September there were 150 homes sold with an average price of $417,863, and the price per square foot of $199.92.  As of 10/1/18 there is a total of 518 active listing with an average list price of $588,396. September 2018 average sale price was 10.77% higher than September 2017.  The month to month average sold price increased by 7.87% from August to September 2018. However, the average price per square foot only increased by 1.11% from the previous month.

July 2018: Prescott, Arizona Home Sale Trends for July 2018.  Number of homes sold, price of homes sold, average price per sq.ft. and days on the market. For the month of June 2018 there was a total of 181 which is the highest monthly total for the year.  In July there was 150 homes sold with an average price of $442,471, and the price per square foot of $197.71.  As of 8/1/18 there is a total of 612 active listing with an average list price of $547,687. July 2018 average sale price was 12.69% higher than July 2017.  The month to month average sold price increased by 3.45% from June to July 2018.

March 2018: Prescott, Arizona Home Sale Trends for March 2018.  Number of homes sold, price of homes sold, average price per sq.ft. and days on the market. For the month of March 2018 there was a total of 149 homes sold, with an average price of $401,180, and the price per square foot of $186.87.  As of 4/8/18 there is a total of 409 active listing with an average list price of $589,418.

1st Quarter 2017  vs 1st Quarter 2016 (January 1st - March 31st): There was a 9.2% increase in the price of homes sold in this quarter, and the average cost per square foot increased by 9.8%.
Prescott has seen a nice increase in the price of homes sold the first nine months of the year.
